The Museum of Human Evolution to participate again in the #museumweek, the museum international event on twitter

This interactive cultural initiative by the social network Twitter celebrates its second edition, following the success of the first edition, which attracted 630 museums across Europe.

The Museum of Human Evolution (MEH) repeats the #MuseumWeek experience, the international museum event on the Twitter social network, which this year celebrates its second edition. From today, Monday, until next Sunday, March 29th, first-rate museums and cultural institutions worldwide share experiences, curiosities and talks, under a theme hashtag defined for each day. This interactive cultural initiative, which in its first edition last year attracted 630 museums across Europe, aims to discover and offer Science, Art, History and Culture in a comprehensive and participatory manner.   To guide the conversations, Twitter has proposed a theme label or 'hashtag’ for each of the seven days of the week. On Monday, under the 'hashtag' #secretsMW, museums will share their lesser-known facets, providing an opportunity to look behind closed doors. On Tuesday, hashtag #souvenirsMW will serve to share memories of visits through objects or memorable moments. On Wednesday, through #architectureMW Twitter users will discover what the architecture that surrounds the various institutions is like.     On Thursday, the Museum Week will be under #inspirationMW to capture content related to each museum; and on Friday, under #familyMW, Twitter users will find all the proposals and museum experiences geared at families.  As for the weekend, hashtag #MuseumWeek aims to further encourage visitor participation. Thus, Saturday will be the day to share your favourite spots at museums at #favMW. Sunday will be the day of the selfie with each centre #poseMW.   The 2015 #MuseumWeek brought together major national and international museums, in an innovative initiative that focuses on cultural exchange by combining the interests of professionals and the general public.
